Receiver of Taxes
The County and Town taxes are sent out the end of December and are due January 31st. This tax bill covers from January thru December of the current year. The School taxes are sent out the beginning of September with the due date varying from year to year depending on when they are mailed out. Thirty days are allowed for the collection. The School tax bill covers from July 1st of the current year thru June 30th of the next year.

Receiver of Taxes
County, Town and School Taxes for the town of Manlius are collected at the Receiver of Taxes Office, 301 Brooklea Dr. Fayetteville NY 13066. Tax payments that are not delinquent should be made payable to Laura Peschel, Reciever of Taxes. Town and County taxes are collected January 2nd through March 31st and School Taxes are collected from September 1st through October 31st. Delinquent tax payments are payable to the Onondaga County Chief Fiscal Officer, 421 Montgomery St. PO Box 1004, Syracuse NY 13201-1004. Town and County tax payments should be payable to the County after March 31st and School taxes are payable to the county after October 31st.
Penalty dates should be verified with the Receiver of Taxes as those dates fluctuate on a yearly basis.

Yes. Credit or Debit Card payments must be made in person or paid online at taxlookup.net and they will also be charged a 2.65% user fee. E-checks are now available online only at taxlookup.net for a $1.50 service fee.

Yes. For the Town & County a partial payment can be made at anytime and be any amount, penalties do apply on any payment that is made after the penalty free period ends. The first partial payment may be any amount at any time. There may be four payments for County & Town taxes and three payments for School taxes. Each payment after the due date must include current penalties only on the remaining balance that is due. No partial payments may be accepted on properties with delinquent taxes, unless in a current installment agreement at the county. All payments made after the close of collection at the town have to be made in full at the county.
For School Taxes the first partial payment maybe any amount and must be made during the penalty free period.

Yes, we accept US Postal postmarks, Fedex, Airborne, UPS, Brown and DHL. Mail postmarked with the due date is accepted. Metered mail DOES NOT constitute a postmark.

Receiver of Taxes
According to the current law it would be late as it could not be postmarked on the due date. Online banking gives the number of days it takes to process the payment. Leave enough days for the payment to be in the office on or before the due date as the envelopes do not come postmarked and are not accepted.
